This hat is a fitted, bell-shaped style known as a cloche 。Vintage Styled by Eduard New York Green Velvet and Beaded Cocktail Hat. Rich, olive-green velvet with gold-toned piping and a decorative beaded front with a centered pearl-like bead. Bow detail in the back. Interior has a smaller hat that adheres the hat to your head. Styled by Eduard New York was a label used for women\'s hats, particularly in the mid-20th century. Excellent vintage condition. Velvet in some places goes the opposite direction, so it is a little lighter in color in some spots. Not a flaw, just a characteristic of velvet. Satin-like edge has some small snags-see 3rd to last picture. Some white fabric on the interior is only on part of the inside edge-see 2nd to last picture. I\'m not sure if this was how it was originally made or if some of the fabric was removed. Small gap on beaded section where lining shows. No beads are missing , but is a slight separation from the edge-see the last picture. Overall, a really beautiful vintage hat.
